The bridal costume, passed down through generations, is said to originate from around 500 years ago, during the Muromachi to Azuchi-Momoyama periods.
Additionally, the dyeing technique of Kaga Yuzen, a traditional craft of Kanazawa, is said to have begun around the same period.
Today, it is recognized as an intangible cultural asset by the prefecture and a traditional craft by the national government.

代々受け継がれてきた花嫁衣装は、約500年前の室町時代から安土桃山時代にかけて始まったといわれています。
また、加賀友禅の染色技術も同じ時期に始まったとされています。加賀友禅は、金沢の伝統工芸であり、現在では県の無形文化財および国の伝統工芸品として認められています。
瑞雨は、世界に幸福を願う衣装を紹介します。
「瑞雨」という名前は、幸福を象徴する雨を意味しています。
結婚式で雨は敬遠されがちですが、日本ではその雨が幸福の象徴に変わります。
このように、日本の思慮深い精神が反映されています。
金沢の工芸の街からの着物を通じて、私たちはこのような優しい美意識を世界に届けたいと考えています。
A First-Time Experience in Kanazawa

My name is Nodoka, a bridal stylist and the founder of ZUIU.
Background & Journey
Since my first encounter with bridal kimonos in 2004, I have had the privilege of styling numerous brides.
As I've traveled abroad for photoshoots in recent years, I've noticed that kimonos often evoke images of anime and cosplay. While this recognition is gratifying, it inspired me to seek ways for people to appreciate the deeper cultural significance of kimonos.
Especially in Kanazawa, where tradition and craftsmanship thrive, I wanted to leverage my experience to offer something that allows people to deeply engage with Japanese culture through wedding kimonos.
Through ZUIU, if we can convey even a fraction of Japan's aesthetic and delicate kindness, it would bring me immense joy. And by expanding opportunities to create these kimonos, We would be incredibly happy
2004年に花嫁着物と出会って以来、数多くの花嫁様のスタイリングをさせていただく機会に恵まれました。
近年、海外での写真撮影の機会が増える中で、着物がアニメやコスプレのイメージとして捉えられていることに気づきました。その認知は嬉しいものですが、着物のより深い文化的意義を理解していただける方法を模索するきっかけにもなりました。
特に伝統と工芸が息づく金沢において、私の経験を活かして、結婚式の着物を通じて日本文化を深く体験していただける何かを提供したいと思いました。
瑞雨を通じて、日本の美意識や繊細な優しさの一端でもお伝えできれば、これ以上の喜びはありません。
そして、これらの着物を生み出す機会を広げることができれば、非常に幸せです。
